In the first part of this documentary, one of the most interesting points they made is that Batman learnt in a very early age that he would never be safe and that he doesn’t think that anyone he loves is safe. In my opinion, that’s why he is so reluctant to be with a woman for a long period of time. He’s afraid he’ll end up losing her. So he decided, very unhealthily that he’s better off alone.

It’s funny to write about this because Grant Morrisson, who has been writing Batman’s stories for many years now,  has said this week that he considers Batman to be gay. I disagree completely, I think explanation above makes much more sense psychologically.

Meryl Streep winning her third Oscar is one of my favorite events of the year. You all know how much I admire her. Her speech was very emotional. The fact that she knows they’re not giving her another one is heartbreaking, but it shows she knows who are the people she’s dealing with. She deserves all the best and that her career continues to be “inexplicably wonderful”.
